Analysis of clinical pathology on two patients with metastatic clear cell sarcoma of lymph node
【Abstract】 Objective To investigate points on clinical and pathological features, diagnosis, differential diagnosis of metastatic clear cell sarcoma of lymph node. Methods Observing clinical features of two patients pathologically diagnosed metastatic clear cell sarcoma of lymph node, and analyzing the results of histology and immunohistochemistry from tumor tissue. ResultsThe inguinal lymph nodes metastatic tumor was positive in two patients. Tumor tissue that was separated nest and bundle of varying sizes by fibrous tissue consisted of polygonal cells with rich and transparent cytoplasm or spindle cells. There were some multinucleated giant cells, hemorrhage and necrosis in tissue. Retrospective history, two patients underwent the lateral malleolus or above the knee tumor resection ever before one to one and half year. Both the groin mass were found six months ago. Vimentin, S-100, HMB-45 and Melan-A of tumor cells all were positive by immunohistochemical stain. ConclusionIt is difficult to diagnose for metastatic clear cell sarcoma of lymph node. We should review history and focus on morphology with HE stain. Immunohistochemistry also is helpful.

Correlation between invasion and migration ability of gastric cancer cells and Tiam 1
【Abstract】 Objective To investigate the expression of T lymphoma invasion and metastasis inducing factor 1 (Tiam1) in gastric cancer cells and its relationship with the invasion and migration ability of gastric cancer cells, and observe the morphological changes of gastric cancer cells. Methods High adhesive subgroups (MH) and low adhesive subgroups (ML) were separated from MKN45 cell strain (M0) by laminin adhesion method in vitro. The expressions of Tiam1 in M0, ML and MH cells were detected by flow cytometry, the invasion and migration ability of M0, ML and MH cells in vitro by Boyden chamber. The correlation between invasion and migration ability of M0, ML, MH cells and expression of Tiam1 in M0, ML, MH cells was analyzed. The morphological differences among M0, ML and MH cells were observed by hematoxylin eosin stain, cytoskeletal protein stain and scanning electronic microscope. Results The invasion and migration ability and the expression of Tiam1 in MH cells were higher than those in M0 and ML cells (P<0.05). The expression of Tiam1 was positively correlated with the invasion and migration ability of gastric cancer cells (r=0.997, 1.000). Compared with the M0 and ML cells, the MH cell bodies elongated with wide and thick lamellate pseudopodia, slender and intensive filamentous pseudopodia, more projections on the surface, derangement of cell skeleton and more dotlike actin bodies. There was no significant difference between M0 and ML cells (P>0.05). Conclusions The high expression level of Tiam1 may promote the invasion and migration of gastric cancer cells through adjusting the cytoskeletal reconstruction and enhancing the deforming and migration ability of gastric cancer cells.

【Abstract】 Objective:To explore the changes and prognostic values of neutrophil-to-lymphocyte rate(NLR) in patients with acute pancreatitis(AP).Method:The data of 46 patients with AP who were treated in our hospital were retrospectively analysed.To analyze their changes of neutrophil, lymphocyte and NLR.The receiver operating characteristic(ROC) curve was drawn and the area under curve(AUC) was compared.In addition,30 cases age-,gender-,body mass index(BMI)-matched healthy subjects(negative control group) were set up.Result:The NLR in AP group were higher than those in negative control group(P
以SAP組為陽性組,MAP組為陰性組,構建ROC曲線(圖1)。由圖1可見,曲線下面積(area under curve,AUC)為0.842(95%CI:0.709~0.956),面積標準誤為0.063,以NLR值判斷AP病情有統計學意義(P=0.001);以靈敏度和特異度之和最大值所對應的NLR值為截斷點,即NLR值>12.38可預測AP病情。

ABSTRACT: Objective To detect the expression of IL23 receptor in T lymphocytes and NK cells in peripheral blood mononuclears (PBMC) from patients with inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) as well as its significance in the pathogenesis. Methods PBMC, isolated from 30 patients with UC, 16 patients with CD and 30 healthy controls, were used to determine the expression of IL23 receptor in T lymphocytes and NK cells by flow cytometry. The surface of lymphocytes was determined by threecolour flow cytometry in inflammatory bowel disease patients, and the results were compared with those of normal peripheral blood. Results The expression of IL23R on peripheral CD4+ T, CD8+ T and CD56+ NK cells of patients was obviously higher than that in the control group. Conclusion The expression of IL23R on T lymphocytes and NK cells of patients with IBD was increased, suggesting that IL23 receptor plays an important role in the pathogenesis of IBD.
